Y'all Have a SAFE Labor Day week end...

Wife has been in NC for a week watching the grand kids so it it is just me and the dog.  She comes home Monday so I still have some time to do some damage in the kitchen.  Another daughter called and asked if I could make her some summer sausage, Italian sausage and Jalapeno & Cheddar sausage.  Glad I made a big batch of Jalapeno & Cheddar up last week.  Will be grinding up about 20 pounds of pork for some mild Italian and spicy Italian.  Going to make 10 pounds of Summer Sausage and smoke it tomorrow morning.  Guess I will be busy Sunday afternoon cleaning the kitchen and wiping down the walls to get ride of the evidence.  :P

I'm working Sunday and Monday. I won't be cooking anything until Tuesday..bummer!

The weekend is goin good, got a brisket some ribs and all the fixins done last night.

Cleaaning up and gettin ready for some turkey and other stuff today.  ;D

not much going on here this weekend. can't legally drive in pa with a cast and the state police barracks is just about across the road. :(
i think they put the barracks there to keep an eye on me.  ;) ;D

just playing on the computer and watching football, kinda bored. got nothing to smoke. :(
maybe i'll take some pulled pork out of the freezer to use tomorrow.  ???
