While shopping I went to get the dogs some bones.  Usually get 4 good size ones for $3.  Well they were out.  They had some marrow bones for $2.50 a pound....but unless I'm making stock those are pricey.  Saw some beef back ribs $1.95...never smoked those...so decided to try em.

Cut and seasoned with just S&P, garlic powder and cayenne.

1hr 40 min with pecan

Took them off at 5hrs

Oh ya...the dogs got a couple of bones.  Little dog lookin for spot to settle in with it

Looks like he found one

Big dog just finds a place in the shade

Oh ya they were great! Tender and moist.  HWMBO said they didn't have alot of meat...but I told him more than pork ribs!(and they did)   I would do them again!  Smelled like prime rib roast cooking.

Looks great.  Nothing like tearing the meat off the bone with ones teeth.  Grrrrr

SiFumar--I'd  jump your bones any time.(ok all of you get out of the gutter)

I like beef ribs more than pork. They are also good using a variant of 3-2-1. I usually use 3-1.5- then till done.
