Emergency Road Trip

He don't know it yet, but he's gonna watch a Kentucky Basketball game when he gets here!

Aaah I know whats up. Hal was going down the road and the acxle fell out of his new monster smoker, so he got it on the shoulder and has been a roadside BBQ restuarant. But he hasn't had a break for a week cause his grub is so good. Now sonny is going up to hual it away so Hal can get some sleep. :o

I met up with Hal and the Monkey a little after Noon...    They were attempting to wrestle Hal's Prince smoker into a giant trailer.    (attempt is the operative word)    It took the 3 of us to wrestle that little monster up the ramp and into place.

Here is Sonny fiddling with the tangled up straps.




And we finally got it secured.   He gingerly drove off to a nearby Tractor Supply for a couple more tie-downs.

It's actually a stainless steel Viking -- but made just like a Stump's Prince.

Sonny made his way down to Paducah Ky where he stopped off at Hughes Meat Market where he picked up a tri tip or two. ;)

Jan and I had the opportunity to hang out with Sonny for a while and then took him to WalMart for a larger cooler.  Told you he picked up a tri tip or two. :)
