Thanks for clearing that up Kevin.  I would think if I was following that recipe I would
can the cure, unless as you stated I was going to smoke it.

I enjoy photographing the process for two reasons—one, for my records, and two, to share the experience best I can.
I've always appreciated Nepa's approach (ample pics & descriptions) on these forums, and although I'm not even close to being the sausage-making machine he is, at least I can still photograph my sausage stuff (warts & all) to share with others.

So here it is....December 12...just about a week after I made a 10lb batch of the bock & kasewurst...

...and its already disappeared! Every link gone.... :)

NOTE TO SELF: make a bigger batch next time!

Good news there's more room in the freezer!
