Venting thru wall

i thought about doin the same thing but would the smoke go out the pipe or would it stay in the smoker.. i also thought about puttn a range hood in my garage just above the smoker.

I used PVC to vent mine more permanent.

My garage had a reznoir heater in it originally and there already was a pipe going thru the roof and had a weather cap on it. I simply shoved the PVC up the pipe. There is about a 1" gap all the way around the PVC. Still it drafts great with no smoke coming back in.  Smoke like water will take the path of least resistance. But the more bends you put in your draft the harder it is.
