Oh, goodness am I rolling on the floor laughing my butt off.  Great thread!  Anyways, Cabelas has great customer service and stand behind their Cabelas branded products so give them a call and I'm sure they will hook you up.

So we had just finished a batch of homemade ice cream, we have a 6 qt maker. There was all this ice and salt left over, and we had some warm soda/pop/coke that needed to be chilled. So I put about 12 regular cokes and 12 diet cokes in the bucket with the ice and the salt.

What we learned was that whatever is in diet coke instead of high fructose corn syrup does not like temperatures below 32F, since about an hour later (sufficient enough time to forget that we put the soda/pop/coke in there in the first place)....

BANG! It sounded like a 30-30 shot inside a barn!

"WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT!!!!!"

Looking around the room, we then notice the diet coke stain on the ceiling above the ice cream maker bucket.

That does not come off a textured ceiling very well either...

My problem now is the main ram rod of the stuffer is missing 3 teeth, two of which are next to each other rendering completely worthless.
