Good Use for a Bad Element

I needed something to hang my sausage tubes from and I saw a burned out out element laying around.  Maybe this is what they were made for  ;D

Tie a knot in the strings and it will help hold them casings up higher in the cabinet.

I got 2 or 3 more bad ones laying around if anybody needs any LOL, looks like I finally got a good one, probly have 50+hrs on this one with no problems yet

You can also cut a couple small boards to put on the top rack rails and put your rack on top of the boards, this will lift the sausages higher in the smoker to get the bottom ends away from the heat.  :)

Buddy gave me a couple stainless steel rods with hooks. Before that always used 2 x2's cut to lenght. Worked great and you can always add some more on ends so they are higher to allow longer links.
