anywhere else besides sausagemaker.com to buy cure? I was placing an order for some tonight but 9.99$ for a pound of it, only to pay 5.99 for shipping plus 2.99 for handling I couldn't do. searched Google and came up empty.. theres one meat shop in town I am going to hit up in the am.

Is there a Gander Mountain sporting goods store near you?  They sell LEM Cure which is cure #1.

I like Butcher & Packer. They have cure for $3.50 a pound but shipping is a fortune.

thanks for the link. I will check them out, no gander mountain stores around here, there is a cabelas. but it is about 3 hours drive from here... I'll see what the meat shop in town sells cure first.

I ordered mine from Cabelas online. Not sure if they have it in the store.

Goggle it,It's every where. And not expensive at all really.
I always buy most of my spices ,cures and stuff on line where they guaranteed freshness. Cant get that at the grocery store or Walmart where it could be years old. Fresh makes a big difference. Also throw a lot of spices out when I'f had them a long time.  Or find some one who don't really care. I buy my amounts according to how much I go thru. Cure I've never know to go bad.
