Braunschweiger (Homemade Liverwurst)

Made a batch today but some thing went wrong. Think maybe it fatted out on me. Awful wet. Tastes great but texture of sausage or burger and crumbly. The PID was acting up. I think it may be my fault didn't auto tune after the 2 element mod.

Well figured Id get some comments by now. But since I didn't i'll post what has happened. I got over excited when my daughter asked for a taste the other day and tried to cut while still warm. Well you can see what happened. So I put in the fridge to sit till i decided weather I threw it a way, made dog food or figured a way to salvage. To night the son come over and asked to try some. I didn't really want to give any to any body so I just brushed it off. He went ahead and sliced a slice and ate it saying it was great I said WHAT! So went out and it has set and become exactly what i wanted.  Guess it was to hot when I tried. Now he wants a bigger batch for him self so guess I'll be making some more soon. LOL

I was going to reply, basing solely on looks compared to what I've seen, since I don't eat the stuff myself, nor have I ever made it...but then decided against it.  Glad to hear it turned out the way you wanted it to after all.

Well probably a good thing. I was so depressed when I cut it I just put it up and went and set down. Should have know not to cut any thing till its cooler. Yes it keeps getting better every day.

Here's what its like now. Next time i'll use my stuffer and also the processor to emulsify it. But everyone likes it.
