Curious SG, did the advice get you up and running?
Give a man a beer and he'll waste a day.
Teach him how to brew and he'll waste a lifetime.

ok no errors this time how long should i run s. g. all nite or just a few hours? also pid programing has me a little confused, i set temp to 225 and green light keeps flashing  telling me  the heating element is turning on and off and temp sticks at 190? sorry for such silly questions.

Just me. I would let my SG run all the time (not burning pucks the the time) before I added the second element. I did it to help keep the temps up in the cabinet.
You can always re program the PID to make sure you added the right temp.
