My first pork shoulder

Set the temp on my DBS at 225'. Put the piece of pork in at 11am.

Forgot to take a pic of the raw meat :( Heres a pic after about 5 hours of apple smoke.



And again at around 10 hours..



Resting after about 14 hours



Removed the skin, ready to be pulled












Time to eat!



Next days lunch





All in all very happy with the balance of the smoke flavour. Not to strong and not too lite... Just right.

Looking forward to the next one..

ps.. It was rubbed the with Jans Rub and left over night
