On the road from CA to VA to visit our Son who's in the NAVY and our Grandsons  :) :)  Going to stop off in Paducah, KY so the DW can attend a gigantic Quilt Show.

Not a problem because I'm the one who's going to get the big treat!!  Going to have the pleasure of meeting the infamous "Jan" of 'Jan's Dry Rub' fame and visiting with Jan's husband 'KyNola' and possibly meeting 'Squirtthecat'.

Life is good!!  In Branson, MO right now enjoying wonderful weather and shows  ;D ;D

Come on!  We'll leave the light on for you!  While the DW is doing the Quilt Show(which is huge) I have a sneaking feeling that there may be a trip to Starne's for Pete.  Pete and I might get thirsty too. ;)

Paducah's Quilt Show stretches over 3 days and will bring 40,000 people from all over the world to Paducah.

Thanks everyone!  Yes, we are blessed and enjoying our trip East.  We have wanted to visit Branson for so long and now that we've visited I know what we were missing.  Great place to visit ... there's someone/something for all.  Unfortunately Andy is not in town right now.

Before we get to Paducah we're going to Memphis and Nashville for a few days.  Nothing like some world class Blues and Country Music to go with that great BBQ  ;D 8)  Will post some photos of our visit with Mr & Mrs KyNola and our visit to Starne's ...

Left CA with a stash of smoked Chicken, Pork, Meatloaf, and some Corned Beef.  Got me a couple more week's worth before I run out  :'( :'(

They raised the price on tri tips to $4.59/lb!  Still not bad for angus beef though.  Try buying them at Whole Foods in Nashville! :o
