Awhile back expatcanadian posted a picture of a wooden slicer that I Liked so I  copied it and made it out of food safe plastic. It still needs a lot of sanding and router the edges so here it is..

Very nice keymaster. A nice small radius cutter and bearing in a router would give it a nice radius all over. I like that thick plastic you used. Very heavy duty. Could you tell  me were you found it? Still using a big knife here. LOL

The material I used came as packing in some new bathroom partitions we use at schools. If there was a short partition stacked on a long one they would use it to take up space and stop teater tottering. I went to the manufactures website and found out what kind of material it was (cant remember it was 2 months ago) but it is safe for food food. I will probably use a knife 99% of the time but it was just something I wanted to make. After I diamond hone the knife I will see how it works and may make one out of Maple and walnut, I just love hardwoods. I have a 3/8" round over router bit w/bearing that should work well, this is the proto-type anyway :-X
