Running a digital 4 rack on a generator

I have a buddy that's wants to run his digital 4 rack on a 1000w generator. Will that be a big enough generator to run it?

The heating element is 500w and the smoke generator is 175w or 275w (I can't remember which) for a max total of 775W. So the generator should be able to run it, unless he has other stuff hooked up to the generator or has more than the stock single heating element in the smoker.
