Is there a reason why almost all off the electric smoker are tall and narrow?  80% of what I smoke are briskets and I always have to cut 1/3 of it so it will fit on the rack.  If it's because of the internal volume of the cabinet, I am OK with only 3 racks but wide enough to accommodate a large brisket.  Does anybody make a cabinet of this configuration?  my charcoal smoker only has one rack but it is wide enough for very large brisket.  thanks.

I can't answer your question about the design of the electric smokers on the market. The below link give one tip of how to fit a whole brisket in the Bradley.

Maybe the draft works better being Tall and narrow verses short and wide. Just a thought, no science to back it up.  :)

Well sure, there are smokers that wider/bigger etc thatwill fit your brisket, but they are...you know.....other brands. :-X
I'm just a social smoker, I can quit any time I want.
