There aren't too many cuts I like more than deer tenderloin, and since I got a nice one this year I was able to enjoy it tonight, and use two of the gifts I recieved in the Christmas exchange! Thanks again Gus!

First step is to shoot a deer!

And here it is all wrapped up-

Next is a good rub down with the Gunpowder Seasoning!

On the Grill!!

And finally, on the plate, ready to be dipped in "Saban Sauce", which was delicious, along with fried garlic potatoes (Grown in our garden this year), corn, and garlic dills which were also grown and pickled by my wife and I. Absolutly fantastic tasting meat!!
I'm just a social smoker, I can quit any time I want.

Now that's what I call a real meal deal! That looks great!

Tenpoint5

I know that was an Awesome meal! Gunpowder on Venison is hard to beat! That is a nice 4x4
Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Keymaster

Thats a super nice Deer!! Nice Score Carl.

"Telling you to invest in smoking your own jerky because buying it so much was getting way too expensive was the worst thing I could have ever done to us, now look at the monster I have created!" :-)
