From what I gather, it adds moisture and taste.  I've never done it that way and the ribs have always turned out fine

Hey there icerat. Moisture and flavor are the benifits to the apple juice deal. I usually wait until the ribs are well on the way to being done then give them a little spritz with the spray bottle. It also gives the ribs a neat looking glaze for presentation, almost like a finishing sauce. I mix in a spoon full or two of my BBQ sauce with the juice to give it an extra taste boost. This little addition has pulled me to the top in a few contests up here.[:p] Go ahead and try it on a rack and compare with the other racks. I think you'll like it. Have a good one.[:D]

Yea i kinda get that but if there already moist and they should be once ya pull them out and then also to the ftc deal then whats the point of this apple juice i see this not only on ribs but other stuff too.My ribs get the bacon over the top drips and a very light mop of sweet baby rays bbq sauce thats it.This is one ill just have too try but i was wondering with this apple juice deal. Are you guys moppimg or just smoke and juice and wrap. Please let me know.Isnt the bacon the best kind of moisterizer for the ribs seem to be thanks ice i will try this this week end.Did you figure out how much total for your nice toy would be lol.I do love your kitchen set up also very nice.WHENS the 1st annual bradley smokers convention at your house count me in.[:D][:D]

I have used apple juice and coca cola together and separately.  I like apple juice because it just tastes good and adds the moisture as the rubs finish in foil and the collagen tissue continues to break down.  I use it on Pork Butt, brisket and ribs.
