Been having my Bradley for 5 years, but recently the smoke generator will not send the wood into the smoker, it jus keeps clicking. Is this a fixable problem or need to buy a new one?

Check the motor and see if the gears have stripped out.  If they have, you can replace the motor without replacing the entire generator.

Have you ever cleaned your smoke generator?

Might just need a good cleaning.

That's what I was going to suggest. Remove the 8 screws around the outside of the bottom of the S/G and it will open up like a clam shell. Vacuum al the stuff out and take a can of air and blow out under the pusher and along the rails. Check that all the wires are good and tight on the connectors and put it all back together.

check the gears, also check for any burrs along the guide or for any nicks in the rail that may cause a jam

I had the same problem. Cleaning is a good idea, the smoke dissolves in water, but is not the solution.
Order a new motor and solenoid fron Bradley for around $15. You may have to take the new solenoid with a different quick connection as they changed connection style. Depends on the age of your smoker. You can switch connecters and solder the old one on. My smoker works like new now.
