Smoked Mushrooms?

Anybody ever smoked morals?  I don't by any means have enough to "waste" by smoking but thought I'd ask if anyone has done this.  Thinking maybe an hour or so with hickory, cold.  Thoughts?

I have smoked portabellas with about 40 minutes of pecan and finished them on the grill. They came out great.

Never done morels but have had success with white, crimini, and portobella. Go for it.
