Finally caught a good sale on butts. The local market had them for $0.98/lb. They had a limit of 4 (so I bought 5 ;D). Ended up with 52 lbs for $51 , not bad. Going to have to make sausage this weekend.
Here they are all lined up.


Sale is on through Sunday so I may have to go back for more.

dat is a great price on pork,,, and a lot of sausage to be made

normally I could have had them grind it up for me, but at that price they wouldn't do it. Oh, well gives me something to do.

X2! Great score!  I would love to buy 4-5 butts at a time (especially at that price!) But even with 2 refrigerator freezers and a small chest freezer I never seem to have room for more than 2-3 at a time.
