So recently my puck feeder has been acting up.  Over the weekend, I started the smoke generator and fed pucks until a puck was on the puck burner.  The feeder fed one more puck automatically, then stopped.  When I realized that it wasn't feeding, I pushed the manual feed button and from there it fed the rest of the pucks just fine.  This type of situation has happened several times over the last few months.  Anyone have any ideas?

Even though I scrape down the stainless puck burner in-feed tray and and vacuum chips out the the puck feeder on a regular basis, I decided to go a bit further.  Scraped, sanded (600 grit) and polished (green Scotchbrite) the in-feed tray back to a nice shine.  Pulled the cover off the smoker generator and blew out the accumulated chips.  What other things should I be checking that might cause this intermittent problem?

sounds like the motor is going bad,,,or the micro switch,,, give bradley a call also have your  serial number handy so they  know what parts to send  out... there good in  helping as well

When mine did that it turned out to be the micro switch, it's cheap enough to replace and see if it solves the problem. I think if it was the motor it wouldn't work when you pushed the manual feed button, but I'm just guessing about that.
