I unboxed my new Bradley Digital 4 Tray Smoker, and the Sensor cable does not exist.  I'm assuming, that since the sensor cable is not in the box anywhere, this is why the E1 error is occurring.  Does the smoke generator not work without the sensor cable?

Pretty disappointed that it doesn't work out of the box and the cable is missing.   I have some dried beef ready to smoke this weekend, and it appears that the Bradley Smoker is not at all ready to go.... :-[

How can I contact these people?  No contact info on the Web site under Company, just an email address.

Take it back to where you bought it and get a different one or WAIT until Bradley sends you the cable. I hate when things like this happen but they do on occasion. Mine came with  a bit of a "buckle" in the edge of the door. I could have taken it back but it is only a visual thing and after a year or so of smoking "visual" becomes non important.

Ok that was really funny, but what a jerk.  ;D I hope deadeye51224 saw it that way and has a sense of humor like the rest of us. Deadeye I would take it back and get a new one if it is not to far. That way you would have it for the weekend. Bradley has the best customer service I have ever seen and they could possible get it to you by then but why take a chance.

Hi deadeye51224;

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear you are not able to use your smoker right away.

With this being so close to the weekend, it is doubtful you will get the part in time. If you are pretty handy with a soldering iron, and putting things together the below link should provide enough instructions on how to make your own sensor cable. Although the instructions are for the bypass plug, you only need two 2.1mm x 5.5mm x 9.5mm DC Plugs which can be found at many electronic stores such as Radio Shack, some 22 gauge wire to connect the two plugs together, and you should be up and running this weekend while waiting for the part to come in.
