Added to my home made Smoked Nuts & Bolts. Gave it that extra added flavor.
Gave it a course grind in the spice grinder.

Added some maple syrup for glue and sprinkled the Sriracha salt to it and gave it enough time in the oven to dry up (225 F). Stirling every ten minutes so it don't burn.

The end result

Very Good  ;)

All I did was follow Saber4's post here with my fixings.

Once that was done I felt it didn't have enough zing so I added my Sriracha Sauce Smoked Salt to the nuts and bolts.
The recipe for the salt is here

I like them to be on the sweet candy side so if I do this again I just might add honey and maple syrup. My son said they where good but I found the chex squares took on to much smoke. I'm sure it will pass in a couple of weeks just like smoked cheese  ;)

Your Sriaracha salt does not need to rest for a month or so before using?  We have smoked salt before and it had to rest for a period of time before we could use it.

How much maple or honey would you recommend in the nuts & bolts recipe?

Sorry to be a butt-head, no pun intended!!!!!   :P
