My first post here was looking for contact information to Bradley Customer Service.

I got a quick reply from the members of the forum and soon enough I had the contact info.

My SG on the BS611 was losing power, even when everything was on. A slight shake of the SG would sometimes get the power to flash back on. This was a real problem for me when doing overnight smokes. The Maverick 732 helped a little as the low temp alarm would wake me in the night IF my unit shut off.

Anyway,I told the CS lady my problem and she apologized profusely and told me she was taking care of my problem. She shipped me a brand new SG and it was here in three days (1 of the days was New Years Day).  They told me to just throw the old SG in the trash as it's not their policy to refurbish malfunctioning units.

They went well above and beyond what I expected from their CS!

To say I was impressed would be an understatement.

Salvage the switches and stuff from the old one before you trash it, it's always good to have spares handy.

I would have at least saved the heating element, puck advance motor and temp control switch off the old one before it went into the trash.  Those 3 items alone total up to over $100 on the replacement parts list at Yard & Pool.

Oh I've not trashed any of it. I will keep it all and might even have someone take a look at it to see if they can fix it. Especially if I decide to upgrade with a PID.
