Last chance bump.

Kirk

(And thank you all for what you've done for Anne & NMSS. I feel like we're more of a family than some of my family!)

ThanX for the bump! Anne's now at her goal!! (And I'm now a Dr.!!) I know what you mean about "family".....I used to tell my staff that they were just like family.....the MANSON family!!  :o ;D ;)

Kummok - Thank you for getting me to my goal with yet another generous contribution! :o  8)

Anne

I appreciate the contributions that you all have made!  The area coordinator is going to give me my Team totals and the walk totals as soon as she gets them.  I know they will be adding things up Saturday after the walk already!  I will give you the update as soon as I receive the info.

Ya think if next time I check into a hotel & they ask "Smoking or Non", they would mind?

Just a quick update - The walk went well on Saturday.  The weather was great and we had a good day.  We couldn't have asked for a nicer day to walk.  So far I can tell you that between Kirk and I we raised $1160 for Team Lehman!  :o  I will let you know once I get the grand totals from my team as well as the totals for the walk itself.

Thanks again for your contributions and help reaching my goal!   We wouldn't have reached the goal without the generosity from our Bradley family! So again I thank you! :)

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry that it has taken so long to get the final totals to you all. The area coordinator just e-mailed me. Team Lehman raised $1,501.00. Thanks to the generosity of our Bradley family, you helped us in achieving over half that amount! :o 8)  When we do this walk every year I get a reminder that I am very lucky so far that my MS hasn't progressed to the level of some. The fact that I can count on support from generous people like you energizes me to walk for those that can't!

The total for the walk itself as of June 27th is $116,000.  60% stays in Indiana to help clients and fund programs. The remaining 40% goes to research! I'm fortunate that I don't need the help from the NMSS. But they do also offer educational programs throughout the year that can be very beneficial. The fact that 40% goes to research is great! I only hope that through the generosity of people, such as yourselves, there is a cure on the horizon. If not a cure immediately, at least some major medical advancements.  Last year they made some huge new discoveries. This money will only further the research. Who knows what they will discover within the next year!

Again thank you from the bottom of my heart to those of you that contributed! :) Thank you also for the kind messages that were left on the message board. I appreciate your generosity and I know the NMSS will put the money to good use!
