Nice machine.

I like that case. Where did you purchase it from NewEgg.com

Newegg is always my first choice and most of the parts came from there.  However ZipZoomFly (The old GoogleGear) had it and the Mobo quite a bit cheaper.

Here is ZipZooms link>>>http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=371213

I like the fan controls along with the digital readout temp.  I have spent more for all aluminum Cooler Master's before but I like this case the best.  Love the side mounted HDD's.  The fans are whisper quite unless you really crank them up, with that ArticFreezer and letting the thermal paste get hard, it stays around 31c or less.

Geez MW that thing is awsome. :o It looks like it does everything including the dishes. ::)

That case is nice. Especially the hard drive placement. My other machine is down. I have to get in their and make sure all wiring, and cards are solidly connected. The case is small, so I was thinking why not just get a bigger case. The one you bought looks like it will work fine.

Looks really cool. What do you plan to smoke in it?
Enjoy good Southern-style smoked barbecue -- it's not just for breakfast anymore!

Looks great Mallardwacker. I will be looking for a computer when the new Microsoft OS is released. I am still using windows 98. What OS are you using. What about the price of the computer? When ever I looked into building my own it seemed like it was a lot more expensive then buying a Dell of which I have.

Brad,

This box cost right at 1200.00 with the monitor.  My son is has double major in Mathematics and Computer Science plus he loves playing WOW so we kind of splurged.  You could do it for a whole lot less.  Our major upgrades were the memory, monitor, video card, case & power supply, and the dual core processor..

There is a great bare bones rig from ASUS that i have first hand experience with and I just  love it, its called a ASUS Vintage-AE1 AMD Socket 754here is the link to it>>> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16856110032

If you are not some gamer, you can get this going fairly well.  All you need to get is the HDD, Processor, memory and burner of choice...PLUS the OS.  Very nice looking, fan is not loud and should run anything Microsoft could toss at it for a while.
