Good day
As a newbie to smoking, it's nice to find a forum where I'll be able to get all the help I need???
Got me a 4 rack digital and got it seasoned.
Tried to smoke some big bone beef ribs.... :)
Couldn't get smoker to get hot....kept adding pucks...LOL
Pulled ribs out and finished them in over...LOL.
We went to taste and  WOW...tasted like wood...:LOL.
I called Bradley and asked if there might be a problem with heating element...they asked me if all plugs were pushed in to the machine...LOL.
It heats up really fast now that I found one of the plugs not snapped into place..LOL..How embarrassing!!  :-[
Going to start smoking very soon.

Welcome to the forum. Any questions just ask. Don't sweat it. You are not the first nor will you be the last to not seat those plugs all the way.
I like to walk threw life on the path of least resistance. But sometimes the path needs a good kick in the ass.

OBS
BBQ
One Big Easy, plus one in a box.

Oh yeah and keep that vent open. 1/2 to full open.

Welcome from a fellow BCer! :)

Hope you enjoy your new smoker now that it is fully hooked up!

Check out the recipe site as well, there is lots of good stuff in there, http://www.susanminor.org/forums/
Apparently it's been down due to bandwidth limit issues lately, but it is up now.
