Thank you all. The prayers have obviously worked. He has been doing much better the past couple of days and has actually developed an appetite.

It may be temporary, but in his condition, even a short period of feeling better is a blessing.

Glad to hear some good news Wildcat.  I haven't been here long but your posts are among my favourites, lots of good advice and encouragement.

Our prayers are with you and yours Wildcat. I have colitis and know how disruptive it is by itself. Add cancer to that and thinks can look real bad. Hope he does well. My grandpa passed from Pancreatic cancer. He was never one to go to a doc so by the time he did it was to late. He only live a few weeks after they found out. I really miss him and that was 30 years ago. Praying for your Son in law.
I like to walk threw life on the path of least resistance. But sometimes the path needs a good kick in the ass.

Thanks again all. He is still doing pretty good. Andy has an appointment to talk with the doc about either changing the chemotherapy or stopping it all together. The goal is to extend his life as much as possible as long as it does not interfere with his quality of life. I'm afraid the kids have some very tough decisions to make here pretty soon.

While I am thinking about it - my earlier post referring you to the web page was not an attempt to get anyone to contribute. (They are getting support locally). I provided the link so that anyone who wants to can track his progress and see a few photo's.
