Brisket Smoke Ring

Hey guys i did a sams club beef brisket choise cut.I am wondering after 4 hours of smoke and the rest of the time in a foil boat in the smoker.Why do i fail to see a nice smoke ring like others i saw.What am i doing wrong.The brisket came out good this time but very very small ring marks. ;).the temp was maintained at 195 the whole time.Anyone one this ?

It is my understanding, and of course I could be wrong, that you cannot get a smoke ring using the Bradley like you would using a traditional wood smoker.  I believe there is a product called tender quick people use to obtain a smoke ring with the Bradley but I am not sure how it works or why.

I have to laugh with owrstrich on that fist smoke deal. I did the same thing years ago and man o man was it horrible tasting. :o ::) ;D

Yea that was funny.ok there ya have it ANOTHER nice piece of meat mastered on the bs.

Mothers meatloaf a real crowd pleaser

baby back ribs

pulled pork

and now the beef brisket. These are all under the belt as far as great tasting and mouth watering ;D ;D ;D.

the cut of meat was my problem with the brisket and now thats a thing of the past.Thanks again all the great folks here with the help and knowaldge on how to become a great smoking cook.
