problem with new bradley smoker

Hey Guys, I plugged in my new smoker today & it starts beeping at me & none of the controls work.
Any ideas?

Do you have the sensor plug going from the smoker to the puck generator plugged in? It is in the back. If that is make sure all plugs are plugged in. Sometimes they loosen up during shipping.

It would be helpful to know if while it is beeping if it is showing any message on the display.  First thing to do is make sure all of the power cords are firmly plugged in.  There will be two.  One is the main power cord that goes from your outlet to the smoke generator.  The other is the short power cord that goes from the generator to the tower.  It supplies power to the heating element.  Sometimes they don't seat properly if they are not firmly plugged in.
