What size casing does everyone use? I have tried 17mm they turned out good but so hard to stuff. and 21 I believe the ones that come in the high mountain kits. the 21s seem a bit big I like the size of the 17 what are your experiences with them?

What kind of sausage you're making? There are many diiferent applications, many different sausages.
Give a man a beer and he'll waste a day.
Teach him how to brew and he'll waste a lifetime.

I like fat sausages so I use bundles marked as 32-35 mm.

My general sausage size I will use 32-35 mm hog casings.

For hotdogs I will uses casing from 19mm through 24mm. My preference is 22-24mm sheep casings, but I just got some 19mm cellulose casings I want to try out for skinless hotdogs.

Anything from 21mm or smaller I will use for making sticks.
