Anyone ever do this? I dont really want to get into the dry ice thing. Looking to ship 6lbs from Ohio to AZ. By thoughts are line the box with 1/2" Styrofoam and place frozen bacon with a couple ice packs and ship next day, Thoughts? Any do's or donts? Thanks

That should work fine. I will actually be shipping a bunch of frozen stuff to my inlaws in Orlando for Christmas. Frozen solid plus ice pack and insulation should buy you at least 24 hours.

I am a little nervous doing this in our current record temps, but I am thinking it will be OK.
When I fished in Alaska, FedEx actually delivered my fish to the wrong house, and it went a total of 3 days in an insulated box with frozen fish and gel packs. The fish was mostly frozen.

(Just to be sure, you can test your method and ship some to me in FL. I happen to like bacon.)
I just spent $12 K on this Honda Accord! Why can't it tow my boat?!?
