QuoteSounds like my kinda trip Malc.
It sure was.  I have a new goal now.  I'd like to visit a brewery in every state ;D  Wouldn't that be great?

A noble goal indeed Malc. Here's a good website that lists and rates many brewpubs and microbreweries in North America. http://www.pubcrawler.com/Template/index.cfm

I've posted a few reviews of Washington State establishments myself. You know what I thought would be fun.....writing a travel book based on beer destinations.  ;D One can always dream.... ::)

Gizmo

I'd go for a Margaritta.
3 oz. Sauza Hornitos Reposado
1 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. Grand Marnier
1 oz. Amaretto
9 oz. margaritta mix (or less)
Call it an Italian Caddilac.  Don't try driving.
Smooth and definatly a crowd pleaser.  Remind guests to stand up slowly.

I'd have to build an addition on the house if I served that one, Giz, 'cause everyone would have to sleep over! Love that reposado.

I'm with you on that Gizmo, LOVE margaritta's. We have a few local beers that are excellent with smoked food although a pint of the black stuff always goes down well too.(Guinness).

Another particular favourite in our household is cava, a Spanish sparkling dry white wine.  ;)

Don't forget to add a little Jack to the meat.  They gotta drink as well.  I call it a secret ingrediant when I take chili in to work.  Can't bring alcohol in you know.  Didn't say anything about a secret ingediant.  ;)
