I'm strongly considering buying a Bradley? (Also looking at a cookshack) My only real concern is the fact that you have to use Bradley wood pucks with the Bradley.  What happens if Bradley goes out of business the day after I buy the smoker or even a year or so later.  I don't want to be stuck with an expensive smoker I can't use anymore.  Does anyone know if there are any contingency plans as far as wood pucks if Bradley stops producing them or any info on the health and history of the Bradley company?  Excuse me if I'm being to anal I'm an accountant and can't help it.

Your concern is a valid one & I think we have all pondered the same scenario. Here's what I can tell ya.

Bradley has sold over 20,000 units, so the bisquette market has got to be pretty lucrative. If they were to go out of business, we would be scrambling to be the first on the market with bisquettes. It's not lucrative enough to go into competition, but as a replacement, we'd be all over it. And I'm guessing we're not alone.

I would have to agree with you on that. With 20,000 units sold somebody definetly would look to fill the void.  I appreciate the response.
