Susan is mad at me ... but frankly I have a blast....

You all should know by now that I have a MG Midget...1972.... it has a whole 1275 cc engine. However the person that owned it before me had it built to a higher proforance standard.

Anyway with its straight pipe it sounds real bad. By the time I hit 22 ave. so on forth street there was is muscle Mustand on my butt.  He would run up and then back off...

Anyway (see map) when we hit Edwards street I pop this little MG into 2nd grear and let it go. About 1/2 way into the "S" curve I "power shifted" it into 3rd gear. We came out of the S around 65-67 mph.... At one point I saw in my mirror that either the driver of the Mustand does not know what he is doing or he is a fool... he has over powered the S curve and he is all over the S curve.

Anyway it was not until the 3rd red star on this map below that his big V-8 out ran my 1275 CC MG. (I was about 75mph) At the forth red star as he was turning to the island he look at me and gave me a big thumbs up...  He knew that while we were under-powered he had been just flat out driven... :P



Man I have not had this much fun since I was a kid in my SuperBee...

My son has an 06 Suzuki GSXR 750. I used to ride a lot of bikes but this thing is just plain scarry! Just the same it's a blast to take for rip though.

I also built up his Jeep YJ, 8 inches of lift 33 inch tires etc. Also fun to drive.
