Hello all.  I am new to the smoking scene (OBS comes Tuesday!).  I am no stranger to the kitchen, however.  Anyway, I was looking through some books on Amazon and I saw twop that caught my eye.  Has anyone seen these?  How are they for the beginner and also how well do they keep up as someone learns?

Charcuterie: The Craft of Salting, Smoking, and Curing
Backyard BBQ: The Art of Smokology

Thanks!

Do a search on this site for Charcuterie, you will find several posts from people that have the book and have great things to say about it.  Not sure about the other.

Charcuterie is an excellent book for those who want to cure meats, and make sausage in their home kitchens.
