On the kinda more serious side in this post, I really don't know what qualifies as a "fatty", but just for recipe comparison, I'm going to assume it's a packaged roll/bulk sausage.  I make a hamburger and rice dish that is pretty much just cobbled together with whatever I have laying around the kitchen, and pork sausage could work nicely with it in place of the 'burger.

What I do is brown a pound of meat in a big non-stick skillet, usually adding mushrooms or some diced ham or hot dogs (sometimes all if I have them) when the meat is still red, but mostly done.  Once the meat is fully cooked, sometimes I drain the fat off if the 'shrooms haven't absorbed it already, then add either a small can of tomato sauce or a regular sized can of cream of mushroom soup, a cup and a half of water, several shakes of Soy sauce, tabasco sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, and Cookie's Flavor Enhancer.  Bring to a boil, add 2 cups of minute rice (dry), stir and return to a boil.  Reduce heat and let simmer until the rice is nice and happy and no liquid is in the skillet.  Top with some shredded Colby/Jack cheese (I think the fine shredded is better), and mix that in.  Serves 1-10 depending on portion size. :D

My fattie recipe is kinda boring, was just looking for sumthin new to try.

It is good...usually have it at least once a week.  Really like it with "Fresh" mushrooms (white button), as opposed to the Green Giant jars, but I use either.

NePa a couple other ideas to use those fatties with:

1) Taco's  use the hot and spicy sausage and crumble and add 2 tbs of water and some soutwest spice to add color and use a Taco Meat.

2) Hamburger Helper.  Italian seems to work best.  Just use the fatties in place of the ground beef.  Follow recipe.  For an added kick, add some can Diced Tomatoes (with chillies if you can get them) then toss in some Fresh roasted and peeled Green chillies. 

3) Chili

4) Sloppy Joe's

5) Pizza

6) cooked and added with some sliced potatoes and fryed up to Country Meat & Potatoes.

7) Omlet with some Peppers & Onion and Jalepeno if you have it.

8) Huevos Rancheros - Green Chili Gravy with meat and lots of good stuff and served with Eggs, sunny side up.

I can go on if you like...

My grandmother makes my favorite stuffing on Thanksgiving and uses fatties. She usually adds one in per batch but when I make my own I usually use a little extra. Gotta be the hot and spicy style.

I think I just got a tire around my belly after reading all this fatty stuff. :o ;D
There goes the ole bisquits and gravy stand by. :D On to better things men!!! ;)
