The maiden voyage (twice)

Although a smoker for many years, I did 2 firsts this weekend...first on the BDS and the first brisket ever. You guys really know what you are talking about. I planned on taking some pics, but after that 7 pounder came off the smoker, I had only one thing on my mind. My bad. To make an 11 hour story short, it was absolutely fantastic. I don't really know how I could have made it any better, again, thanks to you guys on this forum. I don't know if the leftovers will even make it through the night, and we're just talkin' about 2 skinny people here (probably not for long). And now for the test...next weekend I plan to do 3 of the favorites I mastered on the water smoker-ribs, pork loin, and salmon. Probably not all at the same time, but hey-I'm on vacation the following week so who knows?! Thanks again guys for all of the wonderful information-I'm sure I'll have some questions for you before the week is out.

I just happen to have the adult beverage dispensers in all the closest places..garage, kitchen, basement shop, basement bar, pool...never too far out of reach...12 steps???!!
