It is thanks to these two new materials that the Penryn CPU has such extraordinary overclocking potential. Even clock speeds of 4 GHz and above no longer pose a problem, as we witnessed at this year's Intel Developer Forum.

Thanks for the link. I've been thinking about building a computer as a winter project. I had stopped going to Tom's Hardware site, because I felt it was getting to commercial. After taking another look at the site, I realize he still has a lot of good information on it.
