OK, guys... Got a Maverick for Christmas for my DBS and was curious what the experts here have done regarding routing of the probe wires for the transmitter-- do you route them out the top vent, between the door and door seal, or what?   -and any creative locations to mount the transmitter itself?

Thanks in advance--

Run 'em where you want 'em...I have mine, along with the PID probe wire, through the door opening, between the seal and the cabinet.

I'm with Tim.  Run 'em where you feel good.  My meat temp probe is most likely always through the door.  The box temp probe may be coming through the vent if I have it higher in the box.  The transmitter itself I hang on the puck tube.

I started out going through the vent but found it to be a bit of a hastle when rotating racks or pulling racks.  It also takes longer to connect which means the door is open longer and loosing temp.  I just let the wires go between the door and seal and have never had smoke leak out from the wires.  Quick and easy.
