Pork Back Fat

we have a grocery store called Winco in the northwest...  they sell either pork fat, or pork trim for .88 cents a pound... i feel spoiled!

Finally found the fat back. $2.49 lb.!!!!!!!! Damn, seems like alot of cash for pork fat. Not very thick either. Rummaged through about 20 packages to find the thickest. Well Habs, at least this time I didn't get the 'shins'. :D :D

I've been noticing that the price of pork is sky rocketing in my area. I went to buy some pork loin and the prices were anywheres between $2.89 - $3.39 per pound. Generally it runs around $1.75, and during sales it's around $1.35.
