Smoked Pizza

Okay, I know it sounds wierd, but don't knock it till you try it.  It's sunday afternoon and I got the munchies.  I'm getting ready to throw some Delmonicos in for a 20 minute smoke before I throw them on the grill.  There's a few slices of leftover pizza in the fridge.  I threw them in the BDS with the steaks, 20 minutes later I'm munching on cold smoked pizza.  Not bad if I saw so myself.  The steaks were pretty tasty too.  Oh, and for those of you that are wondering..........mesquite.

When I got my smoker, my wife said, "I'm not a big fan of smoked food"

Then I started making cold smoked mozzarella and extra sharp cheddar and using them in home made pizzas.

She grew up in NY and always commented on how good pizza is from there - can't argue that!
but once she tried my smoked cheese pizza, she was hooked and now eats all types of smoked food.

so - smoked pizza is "Good Eats"   ;D  ;D

Well done Scotty...my hubby is now a convert...just takes a little prodding!!! :) Been smokin food all of my life...and as hubby is a Brit...took a bit to push him over the edge!! :)
