I purchase a basil plant without really looking at it. It turns out to be Spicy Global Basil. It has the dangest taste. Explodes in your mouth. I'm going to allow it to seed. It looks like it would make a great container plant. Due to its  fragrance I believe it will add drama to  any herb vinegar you are making.

When it seeds if you want a few I will be glad to mail them to ya. It is not a sweet basil and the leaves look more like they belong in the oregano family.

That sounds very tasty indeed Olds.  I would like to try them as well.  Had a purple and a regular basil plant and actually need to replace them now.  By the time they play out, maybe your Spicy will be seeding out.   :)
