Hickory sawdust chips are currently trading at $480 a ton.. Bradley's suggested retail price on a box of 120 bisquettes is 45.00 for 3.5 lbs  or $11,622.40 per ton. not including the $2597.40 shipping charge.

Has anyone devised a way of making there own "pucks"???
Or modified there BS smoke generator to accommodate conventional wood chips?

There are a couple of members who have made their own, and posted their results.

There is also a post for a member in England that posted another technique, which I wasn't able to locate.

ThanX for the link to "nostalgia", Manxman....I'd forgotten how fun it was to wax on with you and Spook! Haven't heard from him lately. I know I don't spend much time outside the Fish thread, but hope all is okay on his side of this computer screen.......

Saw him at a distance "in town" the other day but unfortunately didn't get a chance to speak to him, not heard from him in a while either but he appeared fine.  :)
