Hello everyone. Just got my 6 rack digital in. What a wonderful looking beast. Anyway it may be next week before a shipment of bisquettes gets to me and I would of course like to work it in this weekend. I mean football is here. Question to you all is if anybody knows where I can get some in my local area. I live in San Diego California. The local BBQ Galore sells the basic 4 rack but not the tinder, go figure. Anyway what an awesome forum and I can't wait to get to know you all and your wonderful recipes. Gosh some of just looks so wonderful. Thanks for the help.

Rip,
Welcome to the forum and the family of Bradley owners.  You are going to like your purchase.  Do you have a Cabela's or Gander Mountain sporting goods store in your area?  They sell the smoker and the bisquettes.

Let us hear from you and your first project.  If you have any questions, just holler.  There are a bunch of folks on here who have a ton of knowledge they love to share.  They help me almost everyday.  One thing, watch out for this guy named West Texas Smoker.  He's very nice but apparently as a small child, he was attacked by a mesquite bush as he now believes the only wood you can use is mesquite. :D :D :D

Have fun and happy smoking!

Welcome to fourm Rip!

I knew it had to have stemmed from my childhood!  ;D  I buy all of my mesquite from amazon, matter of fact the brown truck should be showing up today!  They have free shipping and now and again they have buy 3 and get the fourth one free, price is 15.89 per 48....can't beat that!  I agree with Ky (well with some of it!)  :D Check with Cabelas, Gander Mtn or Academy Sports if you have one in your area.  Good luck and keep us posted!

Unfortunatley no on those stores. Thanks for the help. Yah! I saw that West guy and his bias. Crazy. In the past I liked some of the fruit woods. But have never really found a wood I did not like.

Not to worry Rip, none taken!  I think it suffice to say that this entire family is all crazy for those same reasons!  We're a very eclectic group we are!  ;)

Someone in an earlier post mentioned that Bass Pro also sell them. You may also want to check your local supermarkets. You may get lucky; Bradley has arranged for some grocers to sell the bisquettes.

I fish the bucket mouth occasionally MR. Walleye. Truth be told I am an Offshore fisherman. This year I have landed Albacore Tuna, Blue fin Tuna, and Dorado. The Moss back or Yellowtail is my favorite species to catch though. I am part of the crew for the Lively One when I am not working my real job. We are a part of the Mission Bay Marlin club. I am fairly new to the crew so hopefully here in the next couple of weeks I will land my first Marlin. Ripnlip is a nickname I got from my baseball coach years ago when I showed up to practice late a few times because of either the girl friend or because I was fishing. I think you might catch the joke he inferred. Any way's it stuck. Looks as though your a very accomplished lip ripper from your Avatar as well. Very awesome.

"accomplished"?... I don't know about that but I have a blast trying!  ;)

You obviously do lots yourself. I've only ever fished salmon in saltwater so I envy your list of prey. I pretty much fish freshwater exclusively being from the land locked province of Saskatchewan.

Ya just can't find enough time to do the amount of fishing I'd like to do!  ::)

Welcome Ripnlip,
Can't believe I missed your 1st post and the statement you are from San Diego.  Didn't notice until your last post with the Mission Bay Marlin Club.  I had a friend that was a memeber there for several years until he moved to the Dakotas.  I am in Escondido and the West Coast Kansan is up the coast in Oceanside.  La Quinta hails from, yup, La Quinta (aka desert) and comes down to visit the ocean from time to time.  We get together on occasion and have a few scraps to eat.  Glad to see some more folks from the area to add to our group.  Hope we can get together soon.
