Finally!!! 'Shot' one!

After 4 years here in Kodiak, I finally got pictures of one of our 'famous' bears! This guy darted out of the woods right in front of the truck. Luckily, I had my camera in my lap and turned on. He was so beautiful to watch.

And my other favorite thing to photograph here.

That brownie looks ready to fall asleep on his feet! Nice shots!! No ice on the water??? Been below 20°F here on the mainland for weeks now! I keep hearing Mexico calling but my wallet keeps muffling the sound!
