From time to time, I like to just browse the net for anything related to smoking, cooking, etc.  I love to find anything I can on spices and came across this.  Some of it is old hat, but for folks just starting out smoking, there is some good reading on spices and thought I'd share:

BTW, do any of you FL members grow your own herbs? I have bought some of those potted herbs from the grocery store but they never seem to thrive. I want to plant some outside but I am not sure what there needs are.
