Hi cowgirl and welcome.
Just want to comment on your blog, it's just a nice comfy home feeling to visit. I know I'll be spending some time there.
That sure was a nice sized bobcat you nabbed. I have them around here trying to get at my guinea hens and chickens. Extremely bold animals.
Thanks.

I would also like to welcome you Cowgirl.  You certainly have the envy of my heart as well with all you have done and know.  I grew up in the Midwest and do miss a lot of the true freedoms (hunting, fishing, etc.) that are not as easily obtainable in San Diego.  Job and great weather keeping me here for the time being.

Very impressive spreads you put on there.  Haven't seen anything I would'nt dive right in on for a good tasting or two.  I wasn't able to find the bobcat picture the others were talking about but I did notice you had a post about a plane flying and landing with one wing.  That was an impressive bit of flying but alas I must tell you the secret.
It is a great impersonation but a total hoax.  It was done with a model airplane.  Check out the landing and see how it bounces, just like a model.  Another sign is when the plane turns on the run way, there is a brief blur to hide the changing of the perspective of a model airplane with a full size version.  Quite well done though.
I posted this on your blog anonymously but since it was an old post, and you might not check back that far, I thought I'd leave you a not here in case you get back.

Hi Gizmo, thank you so much for the nice welcome and the kind words too. I'm glad you have enjoyed posts in my blog.  :)
I think the bobcat picture is posted in October.
I checked for your post on the plane, but could not find it. Could it have been an e-mail?

I'm still reading everything I can on this forum, looks very nice.  8)

Thanks Gizmo!  :)
Were you the one that posted about the F-16 then?

Cowgirl,

I am glad you are on the forum to say hello and thanks. Smoking Duck was talking about building a pit and it got me interested in building one. I had been researching cinder block pig cookers when I came across your blog. I love your set up and love the cost even more! It would be nice to have a permanent set up but your cooker works great as a tear down pit for parties. I love it! Thanks for the tips!

No, just the one on the link I posted here.  My comment does not show up on your blog.  You would have to approve it.   :)

Thank you Buck!
I really like my cinderblock pit...it's not very pretty, but it sure puts out good food. lol  I like the fact that I can move it too.  ;D
Hope you build one, take pics for me if you do!  :)

Gizmo, I don't know what happened to your comment. Sorry!!!
I just checked the comment section to be approved and it's empty.  It's probably asking too much to have you retry?

I'm sure sorry it got lost.... :-[
