Trim on front of DBS6

The plastic trim along the bottom of the door on my DBS 6 rack smoker has cracked vertically on the corner, with another crack forming on the ledge below the door.  Both cracks seem to be cosmetic, and do not appear like they will affect the performance of the unit.  Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?
what can't be smoked can't be eaten
