As I'm sure you all know, Hawaii consumes more SPAM per capita than any other state.  I bring down the average by only buying about on can per year (which usually gets divided up into a couple of slices fried with eggs for breakfast, a couple mixed in with fried rice, and a couple in SPAM musubi).  Guess I gotta get two cans this year.

Ka Honu...the one can is a good thing..... ;D

Yeah - SWMBO barely puts up with the one.  Don't know how she's gonna react to an extra can for smoking.

Mmmmmm, Spam Fried Rice, mmmmmmm.    According to my Spam Cookbook, musubi is a rice ball - now ya know.   ;)

Another Hawaiian book i have defines Soy Sauce as:  "What houli's (tourists) put on rice."  That one always made me laugh.

BTW, Ka Honu, i was stationed in Hawaii in the Army for two tours, 78-81 and 90-94.  Fort Shafter and Schofield Barracks.
